A huge blunder, or maybe I forgot my motive... But new changes.

I posted this at YouTube post, but I'll post it here too:

I decided to edit the titles of "120fps" videos back to 60fps and others. YouTube doesn't support 120fps, but I kinda knew this anyways and still added it. If anyone is wondering, I added it because I wanted people to know the frame rate of the original video on my PC, and the frame rate of the game. I guess that was my motive when it came to the 480p videos. Sorry, I kinda forgot. I guess I've changed my mind and want to do things differently now. That's what happens when you do MUGEN for very long, and decide to go back to other things. I got to refresh my mind.

At Rumble, it's still the same.

A huge blunder, or YouTube change their ways?

Sigh... I posted this on YouTube posts already, but let's post it here too. I just realized that YouTube doesn't give 60fps option on all of my vertical videos which YouTube converted to 480p. They were all recorded in resolution 600x1080 as if you were to hold you phone vertically. They were Android gameplay videos played on Nox emulator on PC, many recorded at least 60fps option in Bandicam in VBR (variable bit rate) option.

It seems like YouTube downgraded many of my vertical videos too. Some got downgraded to 360p for some reason, while one that I found, which is Sensual Goddess android gameplay, got downgraded to 240p. Wow. So, I reuploaded it to Rumble, which provides a higher quality conversion. I mean, I still have the original Sensual Goddess video on my external HDD, so I reuploaded that to Rumble.

As a result, I went to edit a lot of video titles, 480p/360p/240p videos with at least 100 views, newer videos, and some other 480p/360p/240p videos in YouTube. In Rumble, I fixed all of them. Sorry about that.

I thought YouTube provided 60fps option for 480p videos as seen in this example here: https://www.resetera.com/threads/youtube-now-offers-360p-and-480p-60fps.211635/. I also remember seeing 480p60fps option in one of my videos too from a long time ago. *facepalm*. So it seems like sometimes they do provide, and sometimes they don't. And, I don't know if they still support 60fps for 480p video and 360p videos anymore. Google AI tells me they don't. They should.

mimi's MUGEN Creations

A collection of mimi aka MIMI's MUGEN creations.

It's a good thing all of mimi's stages were archived moments before he took them down. Two of his chars weren't archive though, so I had to go search for them elsewhere. Unfortunately, I'm missing the untouched version of ROBO KY II ver. 3/21/2006 which is the latest version. The one I found had its def file edited in 6/14/2006.

He hosted other author's MUGEN creations such as Muteki, Raien Makoto, 来焔眞, and Furisu. However, many of them weren't archived, so I'm just going to post the ones that were.

9/17/2025: Found it! Forgot to check MUGEN archive wiki in the archives, but it's there. ROBO KY II V.3/21/2006 untouched has been found, and I made an alt link in case you don't want to download separate parts. Looks like this collection is complete. Looking at the files closely, I can see why Unknown edited the def file in 6/14/2006, because mimi used this symbol, "Ⅱ" which gets garbled in notepad as, "‡U", so Unknown edited the file names, and edited the def file to fix that, replacing the symbol with 2 capital I's instead. With that in mind, I'll still include Unknown's edit here as well. 2/13/2026: Added this info: 来焔眞 aka 来焔眞作 aka Raien Makoto at hosted stages.

Dr. M's MUGEN Creations

A collection of Dr. M aka Doctor M's MUGEN creations.

Dr. M's Brutal: Paws of Fury Remix Site (Still up, but linked to the archived old page): http://brutal.harmlesslion.com/

Dr. M is best known for his Mario, one of the first to be created for MUGEN. The last thing he did was create a full game called Brutal: Paws of Fury Remix. The last known version was V1.9beta2 dated Sep 20, 2002, and he was still working on the game. He said, "The upcoming version of Brutal Remix is going to feature... VOICES!!!" [Source: 2nd Site], but it was never released, probably. Then, he just disappeared it seems like.

8/30/2025: Found another archived link to Ranma. Replaced. 2/5/2026: Found untouched Happosai V1.0, and it's really old. When compared to the converted & corrupted version, the modified dates don't line up right which suggests Electrocaid's version is a converted & corrupted version of an edit of V1.0. Oh well, might as well keep on the list. Possibly this collection is complete. 2/13/2026: Found the latest site for Dr. M's full game. Seems like in 2004, he migrated his site over to harmlesslion.com, and closed his old site hosted by yiffco.com. His new site lasted much longer than the old, and everything in the downloads got archived. His full game V1.0 has bgms, so for bgms for his stages from V1.9beta2 you can download V1.0. Revamped this post, and added so much more. The ver. of Happosai that Electrocaid has looks like an update to Happosai V1.0 when I compared the cns files. Can't find info on who updated Happosai at the moment, or if Dr. M updated Happosai.

Use Dos2Win/WinMugen Conversor v4.5 to fix pal glitches, especially Dali Llama & Ranma. Backing up files manually is recommended before using Dos2Win/WinMugen Conversor v4.5. Dos2Win can't fix Ranma's pal issue for 1.0 & 1.1, but Conversor v4.5 can. Also, use Convesror 2.0 for Happosai first, then Dos2Win/Conversor v4.5.
