There was also another person named Kyo Kusanagi back in the day, around the same time as Kusanagi Ky0, who made Chrono Trigger chars and stages, Sonic chars and stages, Megaman chars and stages, and others, but I think he was a different person. I did a collection on him too. Both Ed G. and Vampire K. are original characters.
