  1. Hey Charmugen. This is LGM2006.

I have downloaded some of these characters, but for whatever reason, they will only show their default palette rather than just all of them. This happens when I'm trying to use his Wolverine, Iori, Daimon, and/or Ramon. I don't think Dos2Win would fix them, as if they were originally DOS characters that have already been converted for WinMUGEN. I'm not sure if there's a tool that can fix palettes from WinMUGEN chars, though I doubt that it was even made.

Do any of those characters need further fixing or just leave them as the way they are at the moment? I'm currently using MUGEN 1.0, but I'm pretty sure this would likely occur in MUGEN 1.1 too. Chizuru and Lucky work perfectly though.

This same issue also applies to characters made by Roque and Nobun, as well as Butchy/Mike Werewolf's Cobra, so I may want to remind you about those for later on.

    1. That's interesting. I never noticed that. Yea, I tested Wolverine in 1.1 and the same issue persists. They will need further editing to fix the issue.

  2. Oops, I just realized that there are two different solutions to fix the palette issues with some of these characters. The first solution was that I went through their .cns files and add the "RemapPal" code in Statedef 5900, whether if they have it or not. After that, I had to change the mugenversion to 1.0 in their .def files and then convert their .sffs to .sff2s. (M1.0).

If all else fails, the alternative solution was that I simply converted some of their .sffs with Dos2Win (sorry, I accidentally denied that statement earlier). It depends on which of these characters are about to be converted, even though they're already made compatible with WinMUGEN by the author.

Hope this helps for you. =)
