BlackJack's MUGEN Creations

A collection of BlackJack aka THE ICEMAN's MUGEN creations and edits, the ones I know so far.

BlackJack had multiple sites back then, and his chars were scattered among them. The site above was the latest I could find, and it seems he never updated it pass 2002.

Then, from 2003 to 2005, BlackJack began working with RatonMalo on his Mortal Kombat full game, mostly on stages (Source). I don't know why.

BlackJack was Global Moderator on Mugenguild for some time up to 2006. BlackJack's last post was on Jan 26, 2011, and ever since then he's been MIA, or retired. Not sure why he didn't create a new site, or have a site host all of his creations he had if he was this active up to 2011. Maybe it's in a post somewhere. Maybe he lost them all. If he did created a new site, then this site has never been found, and many of his chars are still missing.

According to Mugenguild Database back in 2004, BlackJack didn't have a site, and by that time he was already Global Moderator. For Dark Sakura, the character was requestable in the forums, but was not hosted at Mugenguild. Even many of BlackJack's chars didn't make it in the 2004 Database such as Blackjack, Cyber Dan, etc.

Muahaha! After dinking around in BlackJack's 50megs site, and manipulating html code via Inspect Element, I was able to obtain LOST Mugen chars from the server side! Many of these versions you never knew existed! The chars are:

Tried dinking around to see if there were hidden chars not posted on the chars section such as Blackjack, Coloussus, Haggar, etc, and found none. They were probably not uploaded on BlackJack's 50megs site, and Geocities site probably.

If there are pal problems, use Dos2Win, or a similar program to fix. SSF2T Dee Jay will need fixing. Warning that Dos2Win doesn't back up the sff file properly, so you'll have to back it up manually.

Update 1/29/2025: Han and Tetsuo will need pal fixing too. Colossus is bugged for MUGEN Win, 1.0, and 1.1. To fix, find this line of code:

trigger1 = ((var(30) >= 1) && (Alive = 1) && (movetype = H) && (anim >= 5000) && (anim <= 5110) (&& StateType = S))

I highlighted the booboo part. You can just use Find and search, "StateType = S", and it will get you there. The && should be outside of the parentheses so that it reads, "&& (StateType = S)". Edit that, save file, and it should work.

2/8/2025: Found out he worked on this full game called Mortal Kombat Redemption ALPHA2 with Juano, Le@n, & Resurrecta apparently. Thread dated April 16, 2011, and the game is missing.

2/21/2025: Found archived link to Dhalsim+. Alt link added.

3/3/2025: Fixed Cyclops link, and found info on V1 which is missing.

3/16/2025: Found 4 old DOS chars, Cyber Dan, Dark Sakura, Dee Jay, and Dhalsim+, so old they are not compatible with MUGEN v. Win, 1.0, and 1.1, but DOS MUGEN v. 2000.01.01 and before. I'll just put them in a pack. Also found Dark Sakura v. 50%, and added. Found out that BlackJack was aka THE ICEMAN, and THE ICEMAN made and released Joe Higashi and Dee Jay. Found SFA Dee Jay V1.3 with txt file, and it seems to have been edited by Unknown. Texts is getting too lengthy, so it's now hidden under a button.

3/19/2025: After examining the Dee Jay versions/edits I got, I now know the versions and what's going on. The version with the txt file missing is actually a conversion of VFinal? to MUGEN v. 2000.06.27. Corrected info.

2/11/2026: Found & restored untouched Dark Sakura V90%. Found untouched Cyclops VBeta2 at Maximum Mugen in the archives. & Cyclops VBeta with docs edited by www.mugenitalia.go.to at ANDROMEDA FREE. Thanks to LGM2006 for the info in the comments, and for SFA Dee Jay ver. conversion of VFinal? to v.6.27 by Unknown with docs, so added. 2/13/2026: So, Cyber Dan VFinal is by BlackJack & Cleetus Carnage, but Cleetus Carnage's name is nowhere to be found in the older vers' docs and def files.

Characters

BlackJack worked on some MK chars with RatonMalo. How many I don't know, but Electrocaid says Sindel, while RatonMalo says he helped worked on Kabal's pal. For these MK chars, you can download Mortal Kombat Project 4.1 here, or 4.0 here. The conversions here are from Electrocaid. 3/16/2025: BlackJack's really old DOS chars in a pack here [alt]. These chars are not compatible with MUGEN v. Win, 1.0, and 1.1, but for DOS MUGEN v. 2000.01.01 and before. They will require additional editing to make them compatible with newer MUGEN vers.

Stages

These are the MKP 4.1 stages that have BlackJack's name on the def file. There are other stages without his name on it, and it is unknown if he worked on them also. Apparently there are more stages on MKP 4.0 that has BlackJack's name on it not found in MKP 4.1 such as Prison Tower. Idk if I want to scan the whole thing in 4.0 to see what's missing. Moldredd's MUGEN Chars

A collection of Moldredd aka LonelyGirl's MUGEN characters, and 1 stage.

So, back in the days, rumors spread that Moldredd was a girl. Moldredd went by the name "LonelyGirl" at Mugen Infantry, strengthening the rumor that Moldredd was a girl. Even Marancv believed Moldredd was a girl too. I didn't know if it was true, or not. I've also read other things about Moldredd, but I'm not going to say mostly because it's based off of my memory, and I don't want to go search for evidence in the archives for it as it will take time... and I want to keep this short.

Then...

Moldredd epically came back in 2018! In Mugen Archive, if you go to Moldredd's profile page, Moldredd says that he's a male! Then, if you go to his YouTube channel, he calls himself an, "ordinary guy"! So, there you have it. Moldredd apparently changed his gender.

Moldredd at Mugen Archive requested for 1 of his char, Sin, and some of his stages. Unfortunately, nobody responded. Then, he became inactive, and is now doing other things.

Moldredd apparently sent Laxxe23 his unreleased WIP char Sin, which Laxxe23 made a video on. In Aug 2008, Laxxe23 released this Sin at Mugenguild, but it turned out to be Rick Astley as a joke. Both Moldredd and Laxxe23 lost the char sadly. Moldredd said he sent Sin to a few people, and Laxxe23 was one of them. According to Laxxe23, the char was never released publicly.

Since I'm missing most of Moldredd's stages, the title will be, "Moldredd's MUGEN Chars" instead of, "Moldredd's MUGEN Creations". I didn't know Moldredd made stages until I started searching for all of his stuff he made.

Created a 2nd Website!

I created a 2nd website! Because Google epically failed at Blogspot! Why? My Blogspot hasn't been indexed in about 10 months by any search engines. I tried everything, even using Google's Search Console for Google's Search Engine, but nothing. Lots of people have this problem too, and it's a glitch on Google's side.

Note: I created a non-MUGEN related Blogspot before this one, but I won't mention it due to reasons. It barely had anything on it and much less traffic, yet it got indexed by DuckDuckGo in less than 1 month! How come this one didn't get indexed by DuckDuckGo?! Maybe Google doesn't allow people to create multiple Blogspots? Idk.

Hopefully Google fixes this soon and get my Blogspot indexable!

XsLaught's MUGEN Creations

XsLaught had multiple sites throughout the years, and I believe Codejin was his latest one. His site was still up when I checked it in August, 2024. Then, I went hiatus working on this page for a little while. I came back and checked his site this December, and now it is suspended.

3/7/2025: Found the original Gutsman v0.95. I had it all along.

3/14/2025: Found Gutsman v1.0.

4/2/2025: Actually, I think I had the untouched v1.8 of Onslaught all along. It was the one reuploaded at Mugen Fury, and it had extra files in it. The extra act and cns file threw me off. The extra files are MugenFury.url.txt, Mugen Fury.url, Tropic-Mugen.htm, onslaught1.act, and onslaught.cns. You can delete those to obtain the original.

2/15/2026: Perhaps I got the untouched Omega Red V1.6. By looking at all of the Omega Red versions I have & comparing them, perhaps this is what happened: He released Omega Red V1.6 on 4/24/01 and hosted him at his 50megs site, and he might have updated him 2 days later, or maybe the ending was released separately 2 days later. Then, he migrated over to Angelfire and updated him again in 12/2001, with new ending mp3, new readme, and using a Conversor/program to shrink the file size of ending.def. This ver. was probably the one Mugenation reuploaded on their site in 2003. Electrocaid's version looks like a weird combination of the two versions from 50megs & Angelfire. Idk if Electrocaid's ver. is an update, but probably not. Unfortunately, his 50megs site & Angelfire site were short lived, so both of them weren't archived when they were alive, and so I couldn't extract information out of them. I tried to find an archive of the release thread, but I couldn't find one. NiteTek was the closest, but the thread itself wasn't archived. As a result of not finding a lot of information, I'm not 100% sure if I got the untouched V4/24/01 since ending.def was edited 2 days later. Oh well, might as well include it. With that in mind, might as well include v0.7 of Omega Red too, but the def file was edited 2-3 days later. Included Kung Fu Man's edits. 2/17/26: New link for Apocalypse v1.0.
