NAO was going to make a full game called, "ＴＨＥ ＡＮＯＴＨＥＲ ＫＩＮＧ ＯＦ ＦＩＧＨＴＥＲＳ －ＣＲＩＭＥ ＯＦ ”Ｋ”ｓ ＤＮＡ－", or aka AKOF with original and edited chars based off of SNK & KOF chars, but he never posted any updates to his site after posting that Sula got updated in 2007. Then according to A-KUE, in Oct 31, 2010, NAO's site went down (Source: [1]), and NAO & M. mysteriously "disappeared from the internet" (Google Translated, Source: [2]). So, NAO's full game was never realized, and postponed indefinitely.
NAO allowed people to participate in making chars and stages for the full game. CrossCat's MAXIMA-TYPEB- and other authors' chars made it into the game. A-KUE then decided to host Sula v. 2007 on his site, saying that, "As NAO's website was closed due to server issues, T-K offered to publish it on his behalf." (Google Translated, Source: [3])
As NAO & M. disappeared from the internet, T-K did not. T-K is still active as of right now! T-K continued updating Sula up to 2022, and made another char named "Original Sula" which got updated in 2024.
Since NAO & M.'s AKOF was never realized, FlowrαLliα decided to make his/her own version of AKOF featuring some from the old cast and new original chars, which was released. FlowrαLliα updated AKOF in 2022/12/30, which is the latest version right now, but put a password protect on the dl link, and I don't know the password for it. Can't find the password either.
